Man Eater

I kinda started a version of this in Milwaukee, but didn't finish it.  So here's version two.

Finally Home

Awww gawd, Portland was so fucking fun.  I just got home and I'm exhausted, since I didn't go to sleep til 5:30 am and we took off at 9 am... anyways, the 2012 portland zine symposium was super, despite how hot the venue Refuge was.  I got a lot of great zines and got to meet someone I really respect, Tomas of Rad Dad Zine.  So thanks to the organizers, and to all my Portland sweeties.

Free Anka!

I know that this isn't nessisarily art related (although Anka is an amazing photographer, puppet and performance artist), but I recently got work that Anka may get deported after an arrest in Northern California.  During my time living in the East Bay, Anka may have been the hardest working activist I knew there.  She was constantly biking around town working on squats, gardens, food not bombs, the occupation, circus training, puppet making skillshares, photodocumenting protests, etc, etc.  She is so crucial to the East Bay community, so you can learn more about how to help her situation here.

Slingshot Organizer

For some people summer time is about being out and about and having fun, but for a few of us it means working on the new Slingshot Organizer.  Fortunatly I'm not living in the bay area, or else I would be practically living at the Long Haul Infoshop drowning in paper.  I know it's not the best day planner, but it does give Slingshot an income which is donated to good causes throughout the year.  Not nonprofit bullshit like Greenpeace, either, but things like port-o-potties for Occupy Oakland or legal fees for political prisoners.  So here's some work I've done for the 2013 organizer.  There's still pencil on some of the pages, and some of the photo's suck, sorry.

Creem

I worked the door at a house show a week or two ago and the dudes from Creem and the Mau Maus really liked me.  In fact, Creem liked me so much, that they made a blog post about me here.  So thanks guys, you were awesome, come back to Sac-toe sometime!
